Providence Health & Services Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in Hood River, Oregon


Providence is calling a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, Oregon. This is a part-time (32 hours per week), benefited position. Schedule is a rotating schedule which includes 12 hour day and night shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and every other Monday day shift.

In this position you will:

  • Perform computed tomographric (CT) and x-ray examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment, taking into account individual patient’s special or age-related needs.

  • Utilize knowledge and judgement in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)(R) certification

  • Current Oregon licensure

  • Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography upon hire or within 6 months of employment

  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

  • Completion of pledge to Image Gently/Image Wisely within 1 month of hire

  • Computer skills and knowledge of keyboard functionality

  • Expert knowledge of anatomy and physiology, imaging principles, as well as the ability to obtain high quality images

  • Ability to read, write and speak English

  • Adherence to appropriate credentialing practice standards
