Providence Health & Services Specialty Scheduling Coordinator in Hood River, Oregon


Providence is calling a Specialty Scheduling Coordinator for our Diagnostic Imaging department to Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, Oregon. This is a full-time, benefited position. Anticipated schedule is Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

In this position you will:

  • Schedule office and hospital services for patients including scheduling appointments with external providers or ancillary departments to ensure coordinated care for patients.

  • Perform all duties in a manner which promotes the team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent -or- equivalent education and experience

  • 2 or more years working experience in a medical office or administrative setting

  • Extensive and excellent customer service experience

  • Microsoft Office Skills, including computerized appointment scheduling (Outlook or other system)

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Epic or other electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Working knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) & International Classification of Diseases (ICD10) codes

  • Bi-lingual - English/Spanish
